Our mission is to rescue and provide life-long care for animals who have suffered from abuse, neglect, abandonment, exploitation, been kept illegally or need a home.

Reborn Animal Refuge of Colorado is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit animal refuge in Strasburg, CO sitting on
40 acres of land.
Reborn is currently home to 26 animals: 4 steers, 3 goats, 1 sheep, 2 mini-ponies, 11 wolf hybrids and 5 barn cats.
All of our animals come from situations where they needed to be rescued.
We are one of the few sanctuaries in the country right now starting out from scratch, who rescues BOTH farm
animals and wildlife. We strive to give quantity and quality to our animals.
Our long term goal is to also rescue wild animals that are native to Colorado and are captive born and raised,
such as bears, wolves, coyotes, bobcats, mountain lions, and foxes.
As a true sanctuary we will not breed, sell, exhibit or exploit animals. We are committed to educating the public
about the captive animal crisis. We treat each animal with respect, love and kindness.
As an individual 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we rely solely on generous people who believe in our mission.

*October 15, 2022, our team headed to the Wright Park Zoo in Dodge City, Kansas. The zoo is undergoing a large remodel and needed permanent placement for 2 older Wolf hybrids siblings that are 11 years old.
*Labor Day Weekend 2022, our team headed to Portsmouth Virginia to rescue a mid to high content male Wolf hybrid.
*Memorial Weekend 2021, our team headed to Prescott Arizona to rescue 9 Wolf hybrids;
6 of them are puppies. All of the animals are happy and healthy and adjusting to their new surroundings and care givers.

*We are elated to report that, in July 2020, Adams County Commissioners unanimously approved our permit proposal to rescue wild animals, successfully concluding an arduous 3-year process of meeting strict guidelines.

What Reborn means:
To us the word reborn symbolizes new beginnings; a chance to start a new life. The tree represents the permanent roots these animals will now have. The ability to look up and not see a cage over their heads. We will give back to the animals, what has been taken from them. Dignity, respect and freedom to relax under the shade gaining physical and spiritual nourishment. Simultaneously, our lives are transformed through them and we discover that on the surface we may look different but underneath, our roots are intertwined and together we can all be...REBORN
